La France en Couleurs - January 2012

This event was a talk and painting demonstration by Jean Parkinson - who is a very talented local artist and specialises in pastels and watercolours. She runs the Priory Art group, which is operated out of the Priory Centre in Stretton.

Jean has a fine collection of painting that are available for sale and also paints portraits for commissions.

On the evening, Jean was able to demonstrate the finer points of painting in watercolours - and her chosen subject was 'Lavender fields'.
