Février 2008

Vendredi, le 18 Janvier 2008                        Soireé des Jeux

The games night, organised by M. John Hooper, was most enjoyable; most people playing games which they hadn’t seen for many a year. A really good social evening.

Jacket potatoes with fillings gave a short appetising break in the proceedings - and the winner for the evening was M. John Rutland.

Vendredi, le 15 Février 2008          Soireé de Galettes et Accordéonistes

Will members who have cookers, frying pans, spatulas, etc. please bring them to the meeting.

The Club will provide crêpes (galettes), oil, fresh lemons and sugar - but do bring any special fillings which you prefer.

During the evening John Topliss and Caroline will entertain us with their accordion music - which we know will be most enjoyable.

The evening is usually a happy, carefree meeting but problems can occur and we ask members to bring fire extinguishers or fire blankets - just in case.

Wine will be available at 50p per glass if you don’t wish to bring your own.

Cost will be £4.00 for the evening and a raffle will be held.
